Indeed this was a regular complaint a few years ago, mainly on the iPhone App, Android didn't seem to have this issue. The one feature that can cause this is if you didn't state a FF card at the point of booking, or were new to the status level - or it was made via a travel agent and the number dropped off. If you are crediting to another airline but using the app within BA's Silver membership, then I can imagine it wouldn't easily compute through all the hoops. But if you have the physical QF card to hand I would have thought it wouldn't make much difference, particularly if the Group Boarding number is correct. If you had a printed boarding card I'd imagine it would show the word Sapphire and that would perhaps help with Fast Track. The self serve checkin machines will also reprint boarding passes where available. It may be worth trying removing the QF number and reinserting it back in via the Finnair site a few days before OLCI.
