DH and I will be traveling to Asia for the first time this December holiday season. Our final stop will be in Thailand. After spending a few nights ringing in the New Year in Bangkok, we would like to spend the first week of 2019 at an exotic beach destination. Initially we were thinking Ko Samui, but have heard that it will be the tail end of the unpredictable rainy monsoon season. I know there are no guarantees, but we'd like to experience sunny days enjoying the beauty of nature and the ocean. With that being said we can't seem to narrow it down to which Thai beach destination would suit us best around this time of year and I've read so many mixed reviews. Please help me narrow things down as my head is spinning from research overload and we'd like to book soon since it will be the high season. What say you Krabi, Khao Lak, Phi Phi, Phuket, Hua Hin or Pattaya?
