personally i enjoy AC J more than BA J if it's in their latest iteration on their pods on the 789. i find the older "coffins" on the 788 to be not so great. The latest ones have more room and a more open feeling than club world.
i have found the food to be acceptable on AC which is not what I can say about BA.
the maple leaf lounge at LHR is smaller than the club lounge in T5 but it's still okay.
I have soured on BA and am flying other airlines more these days. Also, BA no longer has code share connections to Victoria (YYJ) where we moved a year ago so it means a drive to YVR.
and one more thing is that i'm finished with Avios. i've gotten much better value out of Aeroplan as of late but that will also come to an end in a couple of years since AP and AC are breaking up.
But just based on the airport and airplane with all other things being equal (price, schedule) i would probably choose AC.
