The one thing I've learned about WN from watching Airline on A&E is that they handle problems miserably! Last nights show had a flight oversold by *53*!!!! Those folks were trying to go from Midway to FLL. Rep tried to route them (standby) through Indy and some other city in Fl. When they got to Indy, there wasn't room for the standby's and they were returned BACK to Midway! WN will NOT endorse a ticket over to another carrier in an oversale situation. They also will not increase their compensation to get people to VDB. The will offer the IDB comp to everyone, and if noone VDB's, then the last one to check in doesn't make the flight. I need to know that my airline will do EVERYTHING they can to get me to my destination, rather than saying "Sorry, I know you booked your ticket 9 months ago, and you're on your way to a cruise, but we don't have enough seats left on this plane." Just my 2 cents worth, AS all the way! Never fly WN, you'll probably never have a problem until it is REALLY REALLY important for you to get where you're going!
