At the Hilton Mission Valley, my choice (gold) was set to breakfast but the front desk clerk upgraded me to the lounge floor and said if I wanted to, I could eat breakfast in the lounge and get points instead. Accepted but when the points didn't post after a month, called and the rep grudgingly added them to my account "because you said they were offered to you."
