Not really travel related, but I figure people will know if this exists. My gas fireplace has a receiver for the remote control that takes 4 AA batteries. The thing practically eats batteries, however, even when it's not really being used. Rather than deal with replacing batteries (even rechargeable ones), is there a device that might look like four AA batteries but which I could plug into the electrical outlet under the fireplace and that could provide the 6 volts it apparently wants?
