Why don't you just call the specific hotel you're trying to stay at directly and sort out the rest (rates, online booking bonuses, etc. etc.) by calling Hyatt customer service directly when they're open?
I don't expect Hyatt to have a 24/7 reservation line locally. That's why I called my local Australian number, then the US reservation line and even a European one (as this was about the only place in the world which was at normal business hours, however still on a weekend). I did not get through anywhere...and that's why I was frustrated.
Anyways, I'm over it now. And you're right, next time I might just call the hotel directly. However, I would have been surprised if their in-house reservations would have been open on a Sunday night.
And please, no fights over FFN, there are still plenty available...
