Well, I’m keen to try once more steveben53 - altnough I suspect that this follow-up may not clarify things in your mind, any more than my post #17 above did (or indeed the advice provided by others)

There really is NO ‘official line’. It’s entirely down to your own judgement and personal choice. Always has been.

The only reason your wallet will be “£10 lighter” at Gatwick is if you want it to be !
