I couldn't find a definitive answer so I wanted to ask everyone here. What are the baggage rules for a "stop" in HK but not considered a layover.
For instance, I bought a LAX->HKG and a HKG->NRT ticket and the 2nd leg departs 7 hours after the first one but because I did not buy it as LAX->NRT but rather than 2 separate legs, I am not sure if CX will check my bags through NRT?

Could anyone provide guidance or insight? I tried calling but they put me on hold for 30 minutes and I gave up lol
