I was there a month ago. As Spire, no free breakfast, sadly. I had some sort of discount coupon for the restaurant which I used for a quick dinner, and I think it applies for breakfast as well.
Had a nice upgrade.
BTW from Malpensa you have choice of train or bus -- there are several bus companies and greater frequency. Cost is 8 euro (vs. 12 euro) and it drops off on the side of the Centrale station -- which is actually a short walk (3 blocks) to the hotel. The hotel also sits on top of the Sondrio metro station with the stairs on the corner, right outside the entrance, and the elevator just to the right of the door. From Sondrio, you have one stop to Centrale (but from the Malpensa Express it's almost faster to just walk to the hotel than it is to walk to the Centrale metro, and it's all flat, no stairs if you have luggage). Further stops Reppublica, Turati , Montenapoleone (La Scala), Duomo, Missori, Puerta Romana. Very convenient.
