Poor service - Compensation promised but not given
I recently stayed at a Conrad hotel using a reward certificate. I experienced very bad service and emailed the hotel afterwards. The manager made poor excuses but agreed to give me a modest 10k points as compensation at my suggestion. However I never received it.
I emailed the honors address twice to get them to chase. once I received a stock reply asking to fill in all my details and message to the hotel, even though I explained my concerns thoroughly and forwarded my correspondence with the hotel. I contacted the address again, and they said the hotel has replied (referring to the hotels initial email reply) and asked me to deal with them directly.
I have chased the hotel and he promised to look into it, but still nothing. The points don't count for much, but I am angry from principle. What options do I have now?
