Can anyone clarify?
Yes. In the T&Cs, with all the appendices open, you'll find 24 references to "Complimentary Suite Upgrade Awards" and 10 references to "Suite Upgrade Awards." The latter, Suite Upgrade Awards, is discussed only in Appendix B, Part II, section (c)(1), where all ten references to that term appear. These are the ones you use points for, and they require certain rates.

All of the other 24 references are to Complimentary Suite Upgrade Awards, which are what you get as a Globalist.
