about the same result for me year back with same status: booked cheapest room and was given what seemed like might be step up room with king bed higher floor & view over street, but nothing else no suite or breakfast etc. However, very happy with the hotel and would recommend and/or stay again.
And, for earlier question about linate yes either need car rental or taxi. For malpensa you can take the train from central station - which is only few blocks from this hotel within walk or quick metro ride - but it does not go to linate!
