I would appreciate any clarification as Im getting mixed signals. Husband flew enough 2017 to obtain platinum in May so 2018 is the medallion status year correct? On his delta page it said he could pick choice benefits till Jan 31, 2019. I couldnt see it and didnt recall the rules around that and suggested he call medallion desk but not trusting that I did a search. From my search it looks like acrewal in 2017 is 2018 medallion year so he chooses RUCs by Jan 31, 2019. BUT the desk told him he had to choose within an hour. so he did. What is correct? Ill be pretty annoyed if he got them needlessly now as no travel planned that wed want to use RUCs for and the clock is ticking. info?
