While nowhere near the smallest or lightest headset, I swear by the BlueParrott headsets. They're designed for over-the-road truckers, so long battery life, excellent noise cancelling, and very comfortable. Even in a busy airport, no one's ever heard any background noise on the other end, even if I'm speaking quietly.

I use it both with my Samsung Note 4 and Cisco office phone, no issues.
