Yeah, the 777-200LR is often (always?) found on DL's longest routes, ATL-JNB and LAX-SYD. A 777-200ER can do LAX-SYD (United uses one for that route), but I think the -ER will have to take a weight penalty (ie have to leave some seats empty and/or limit the cargo) more often, depending on the headwinds. Given the hot/high airfield at JNB, I'm not sure a 777-200ER can reliably do JNB-ATL at all (at least not without a fuel stop).
