Hi, I’m looking for some answers to the below, possibly posting it in the wrong section so if somebody could help answering and /or moving the post to the relevant thread would be much appreciated.

I booked a ticket through kiwi.com and literally 2 minutes after booking it I regretted my choice.

I need to fly AMS to GDN on the 13 feb returning on the 15 feb, got the confirmation email from them and until then it was all fine. Then I looked into my KLM app to add the flight booking and to my surprise the flights were shown as 13 departure 21 return. Called the KLM call centre and they said it has nothing to do with them and need to contact kiwi.
after spending 30 minutes on the phone and speaking to a consultant and a manager at kiwi, while opening every attachment on the email from them I learned that:

they’ve booked two tickets form me carefully nested within one another first one being AMS to GDN on 13 feb return 21feb and the second one being GDN to AMS 15 feb till 18th march. As much as I’m not opposed to nesting the tickets within one another and I’ve done so several times for a tier point run on BA, the confirmation attachments from kiwi show only the legs on the 13 and 15 accordingly so a leg each from each flight. The second issue with this is that they argued and stated on several occasions that they will check me for this flight which I don’t want for several reasons.

My question is; I wont use the leg on the 21st February but might want to use the 18 march, does anyone know/ have any experience with kiwi booking tickets like this above, confirming only selected legs and the cancelling the unused legs and getting the monies back from the airlines for themselves? As said I don’t have a problem with nesting tickets but they didn’t inform me of it, I found out only because I know a fair bit about ticketing and also don’t want to be checked in by them - they were actually insisting that my type of ticket isn’t eligible for an online check in (even though my KLM app says check in opens in X days) and I will need to check in at the airport which will cost me additional fees as KLM charges for airport check in (lots of bull...) to find the whole matter even more annoying I found exactly the same nesting tickets with klm on klm website for $90 cheaper!!!

any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!
