No, it's not the same as actually staying in a hotel in the middle of the Amalfi Coast which we have subsequently done. But it gave easy access to a broad array of sights including Pompeii and we enjoyed it very much. If you can access the executive lounge, it has a expansive terrace with a great view over the water.
I do, but not enough to cover a week in the summer
