Wonder if anyone has done this recently. Fare rule says "AFTER DEPARTURE CANCELLATIONS PERMITTED" which to me seems a bit vague. Called in twice to ask and both representatives said (after confirming with supervisors) that after departure ticket would have no value and it has to be cancelled before departure for full refund.

But how is 'before departure' defined? Before door closes, T-1?
