Opened AA card in April 2017 and closed on Aug 29th 2017.

Applied again on Dec 20th with no luck. Can not offer products (no HP). Spoke to retention and they told No because closed card on Aug 29th.

Today Jan 30th 2018 - applied again. Got 7-10 day message. Checked status online 5 minutes later - DECLINED. This time I am sure there was HP

Not sure if it even makes sense to call retention.

Update: Just few other things - I dont have any other Barclays card, but the old one still shows on my online account. Also I am 7/24, 4/12, 0/6 if it helps anyone.
