I usually meet my husband at the chauffeur drive area- it has a bunch of seats and is usually not crowded at all (and for us its a close to the cross walk to the parking garage). Only problem for you is that it is the opposite direction from the taxi stand. A place to consider if you don't want to fight the crowds at the arrival exit if you turn left.
