Previous card opened on Jan 15th 2017, closed 12/14/2017. Applied today ( 45 days) after closure, a little over a year from previous opening date, not automatic approval, didn't call (never call to review an app with Barclay) received email a couple of hours later with approval. online account shows both new and old cards. cool beans.
The data point I posted in Dec for my 2nd AA (not converted) card was after 35 days of closing the previous card. I picked that gap because some had reported failure if doing it in less than 30 days. Maybe we're actually figuring this out.
