Follow up with E-ZPass and get the charge dropped from the license plate. Then give National proof that it's resolved and you should owe them nothing.

I got a parking ticket in my rental and paid directly to the city before the due date, however National caught wind and tried to charge me additional administration fees to pay the ticket. I sent National my proof of payment and they dropped all charges after seeing I already took care of it.
