Looking at the OTP-PHX via a variation with a direct flight home to LHR after the JFK->LAX transcon - I don't need all the TP and I fancy 10 hours in F on the way back. I have a trip on hold at AA, and can't really resist all that F.

Before I press the button, any difficulties or penalties if I skip the last LHR-OTP leg on AA?
