A trip to Boston and back in the same day, which used to seem insane and now just seems, well, tiring. Been there, done that. But at least my upgrade on the outbound cleared at the window on a B fare. I was looking good for the return until an ATL flight cancelled and a DTW flight delayed and we got an onrush of people who bumped me back. And so instead of having an UG on the return as well, it was Comfort+ for me. With that, onto my breakfast. It was the standard Delta breakfast. Cheerios or hot meat and egg sandwich. The flight attendant was fantastic and warranted and in-flight tweet of praise from me, which is not something I often do. The food was ... fine. That's about all that can be said about that.

Entree: Turkey ham, egg and cheese sandwich on flatbread
Side: Fresh fruit
Dessert: Strawberry yogurt
Drink: Mimosa

The meal:

Verdict: The food was ... fine. The other choice was, of course, the cheerios. Evidently the oven on this bird was busted, as some sandwiches were coming out piping hot and others lukewarm. I got a lukewarm one, but didn't complain because, eh, it was edible. The FA came back and asked me and was horrified that I hadn't said something. She was really quite good and did a great job with PDBs, presenting the entree options via her phone and refilling drinks whenever needed. But, boy, it would be nice if Delta got a little more creative with mid-haul breakfasts. At least there's no seafood.
