ElPremier - I disagree that the jury is still out on MVP preboarding. They demoted us. The new rules are clearly less advantageous to us. The problem with some agents not even following the new rules just adds to the inconvenience.

Since this thread is about upgrades, I'll also add the fact that redemptive upgrades cost more than they used to. This is true for everyone, not just MVP's. But since MVP's presumably rely on redemptive upgrades on transcons more than Golds do, it affects us to a greater extent. And they apparently haven't opened up upgrade inventory on transcons to acknowledge that we are paying more miles.

There has been no good news for MVP's. Just lots of bad news.
