I have my friend arriving in Dubai with her family at almost the same time as me on my next trip. We'll be landing within 30 minutes of each other. She's never been to Dubai before but is flying Emirates from another country so, I presume, will be arriving at Terminal 3 (is that correct?).

We want to travel together to the hotel so we're planning on meeting up after we exit airside at T3 after customs. Where would be the best meeting point to meet up? I've read somewhere that there is a Costa coffee shop but I must have missed it during all of my previous trips!

Of course, just as a backup I've provided her with the full hotel details and the process for getting a taxi but I'd rather be with them on the ride to the hotel.
