Indeed. When I booked it in late November, there weren't many choices. (I know we were too late, but a lot of personal and corporate reasons led to this late decision to travel) My AC ticket price point was between CI/BR TPE-LAX/SFO PE and Business, so we ended up choosing AC since I thought Business will be unconditionally more comfortable than Premium Economy.

Plus I had decent experiences flying Air Canada, even on Y, through YYZ and YUL. (I really used to think AC was the best N. American carrier given my past experiences. And the Doctor Dao incident still made me a little concerned flying United. So as a Star Gold member, I didn't hesitate to choose Air Canada.)

I couldn't regret it more.
