Sorry I didnt mean not to use "Grab" or the app for Grab. I meant dont flag down or if they stop on their own dont use a cab that has written on it Grab when you didnt order one. I fully understand/understood that by hailing a cab it has nothing to do with anything so if I flagged down an Uber (if even possible anywhere) then it has nothing to do with Uber itself since I didnt order an Uber via the app

2- we had very little traffic and had mostly green lights, before we even got out of The Holiday Inns exit the meter was already 39 by the time we got onto Suk 1st light it was 41. And the meter at the PH showed 2.4 km driven if a reg cab gives the 1st km for 35 even with alittle traffic it shoudnt have been so high. episode 2 we had no traffic and the meter just kept ticking away although we ended up going over 3 kms. Its not that the extra $ is gonna kill me , I just wanted those who might be taking a much longer ride or evena short one its best to use any cab that has a sign on its roof that says 'metered taxi' Grabs cabs didnt have that language but something else.

Of cause my 2nd episode I knew it would be clicking away but when over a dz cabs wouldnt go with the meter but wanted bet 200-400 when it cost 70 on the meter I ended up, better off with a meter that didnt give me the 1st km at 35 thb

Of cause the best deal was my way back, river boat (orange) to Central Pier and BTS to Phleon Chit , crowded yes but was the most interesting and enjoyable. I try not to use cabs whenever possible and for Chinatown later today will rinse and repeat BTS/Riverboat, yesterday started out later then I wanted to so it was BTS to Stadium and cab from there
