Am I the only one who has had a real good experience with Tumi?

I have had a Tumi Alpha since 2005/6. I have used the roller bag almost every week since then. Checked-in about 10-20% of time especially when it is an International Trip. The wheels on the bag finally gave up this past week and I have sent in for repairs. The bag has been with me through snow storms in Chicago, rains in Mumbai, the cobbled streets in Vietnam. The bag has been with me for over a 1m butt in seat miles in 12+ years.

I dont like the new Tumi Alpha 2s. The zippers dont look as sturdy and the ballistic material looks thinner.
