So a pax needs to be rerouted for the 50% compensation to apply?

Thats a rather odd bit

I have not experienced a 3h delay before so this was news to me. So if tgey change planes and make it under 4h they are okay but if they reroute you and your delayed by three hours you get comped the way I read it was 3-4h 50% and over 4hrs 600€ but I guess I learn something new everyday 🙄
