My recommendation would be get a smaller bag, say 24-25-inch size. I can travel for months using a carry-on, but I realize many cannot. Nevertheless, if you're petite (like I am), you definitely should pick a small-size checked bag. You will have a hard time meeting the 50 pounds limit for checked luggage with the enormous bags on your list. It will be difficult to manage such large luggage in and out of cars, on steps (public transportation or entering hotels), etc.
