I stand corrected! Well, sort of. I think.
When purchasing WestJet onboard wifi, the menu screen at
www.westjetconnect.com gives the user the three purchase options (30 minutes @ 4.99, 3 hours @ 8.99, and full flight at 13.99).
But ... at the bottom of that screen ... there seems to be a way to log in and pay with either an "iPass" or a Boingo account. (There's a separate sign-in button for each.) I'd never noticed before my flight this morning.
Boingo definitely isn't the onboard provider on WestJet, but there does seem to be some way to access and pay for their onboard internet through a Boingo account.
