Just to ensure you do not confuse with CX's "registered account" (which basically only helps you fill in passenger info & receive promotions), you did have a 10-digit membership number, and that you added the additional passenger into your "redemption group" right? If so, you should see a field of asia miles balance after login and you should be all set.
