I have registered for a Cathay Pacific account successfully and have also added an additional passenger. Based on what was said above, can I now use my Asia Miles to redeem flights on CX metal for me and my partner?

I understand that Marco Polo Club is a status program like PPS Club. Therefore, Asia Miles are like Kris Flyer Miles, these can be redeemed regardless of status with PPS. Is this understanding correct?
