Plus one on this, since they don't clear their ears the way we do. I remember the first time we traveled international in first with daughter at about 1 year, from Narita to San Jose, upon boarding the other pax gave us stares from angry to resigned. Then I found someone's luggage in our bin and no one would claim it. When I said, ok, I'll just take this to the FA, angry businessman #1 took it back. Luckily, after that it settled down, and daughter was a dream, sleeping most of the way. Now we just had orientation for high school last week! Best of luck!
