owever, and perhaps throwing a spanner in the works… would it perhaps be an idea to save the 'crawl' part for after the meal? Retains advantage of fixed pre-meal meeting point, avoids the dangers of a 'misconnect' and resultant failed loading of pre-ordered catering, and if people feel up for a few decent beers afterwards they can do so?
Very true, always an option for beer afterwards, though the area in General where the steak place is, ...well lets just say on a Saturday night in Bristol i'm not a fan, maybe 10 years ago...
Not sure when Small Bar closes or Beer emporium, might be midnight or 1am, I can never remember.
