I like the FRA connections to India. EK, I'm assuming, is similar to the rest of the NA flights of theirs with connections in the middle of the night, arriving early in the morning.

I prefer the redeye to EU, daytime connection, and arriving at night, even if its a little late, where I can sleep immediately. Overnight connection and having to wait all day to sleep (unless you want to be jetlagged for the entire trip) isn't something I'd want to do. And everytime I've looked up EK pricing to India, they are not price-competitive at all. I realize there's a lot of folks who say EK is undercutting pricing and stealing onward traffic. Maybe its just been my days/times, but that's what I've seen, anyway.

Though I agree, EK middle of the night connection is far better than the beyond BOM/DEL connections on UA - where you arrive mid-evening, then have to fly out first thing in the morning.
