When entering DOH on transit, some flights go through security, and some do not. If you go through security then the 100 ml rule applies, so any liquid in containers that are more then 100ml in size will need to be in sealed bags. And when leaving DOH, certain flights have secondary screening (Australia, USA), where the liquid rule applies.
That's before the airport hotel (except USA and AUS flights), so a duty free bag is enough.
