No one was around to greet me

arrived into E3 and I wanted to call Uber to bring me to Immigration, man what a long walk. i thought I landed in Doha there were tons of Muslimsin all attire. Good thing i was Uped to biz on CX and got a Fast Track Lane card

The elevator where I came out wasnt working so I took 2 escalators to get up to Level 4, bags went flying off the cart didnt realize there was something that locked the wheels till it was too late

Got 3k in baht from an ATM on 4 SCB the only place that had working ATMs. saw numerous doors that led to the outside w/o any gates. well once outside I saw I had to cross over to where the cabs were and bingo I ran into the 'Gate'. As i was crossing a driver got out of his cab and waved me over, he motioned for me to bring my bag to where he was standing on the other side of the gate and he lifted my bag over it and I proceed to get thru the so called 1 way gate, no problem with carry-on in tow. Before he put my bag in the car I showed him the address I was going to, had a girl write it for me in Thai. He said he knew the place.

Once in the cab I pointed to the meter he said 500 baht, I countered with 350, he laughed and said Im nuts, I said just as nuts as you are for wanting 500, he turned the meter on and off we went. not really as it was extremely heavy traffic to get out of the airport , once we did the sky opened up and it was pouring. there was 1 toll for 50 thb the meter read 393, I gave him a 500 and he handed me 3 20s when I didnt move he added 1 more and said tahts all he had but I saw the red 100s so I said OK just give me 1 100 and he did.

Now as we drove he kept showing me things to do and he would drive me, so I figured to make sure he didnt rip me on taking the very long way I let him know when we get to the hotel I wanted his tel# so I can reach him to go to the places, Traffic was very heavy due to the rain+.

I now understand all about the traffic that doesnt move, it was 10x heading out of the city @ 2pm, numerous times it wasnt even moving an inch an hour

anyone who would have come to watch me make a fool of myself , well they would have been the fool

havent really slept since leaving EWR on Mon so Im just gonna chill and since the weather isnt nice out Im gonna rest up so i will beable to start off running tomorrow
