I have a similar question. I am renting a car in Dublin for 9 days and I found a pretty good rate using Costcotravel of 154 euros. Then I tried Priceline and got a rate of 73 euros. I am wondering if the Priceline quote can really be true of if I am missing something. Both quotes are for midsize cars, pay at counter. Can you really rent a car in Dublin for 8 euros/day?
As an aside I plan to use my Prestige card to receive the coverage and have printed out a letter of coverage from Citi.
