It reminds me of the time that an immigration officer at CLT asked me a question which he thought might trip me up.
Q: "If you're visiting a friend, why are you staying in a hotel?"
A: "Because she's having a lot of work done on her house and she's got no floorboards, so staying there wouldn't work very well."
The look on his face was priceless.
A: "Last time I stayed overnight with my friend, she tried to get frisky with me." would have worked as well.
