???? Why would you say that? Coming out from T5 probably holding BA ticket, so precheck wont show on BA ticket.
Now even when I change boarding pass to AA ticket in T3, and showing precheck (i always got precheck at least last 3 years with AA), I dont think I have ever skip the "interrogation interview" when flying with AA. The only change is they no longer put sticker in your passport, instead, they put sticker in your boarding pass.
However, if I flew BA connecting T5, I can go straight to the gate.
