Thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately, the EI Airbus A330-200 not only is lacking in center bins, the side bins are not very spacious, and they were already partially filled with a huge pile of extra pillows and incredibly thick comforters (for polar flights?)

Nonetheless, EI did not follow its published carry-on baggage limits, and allowed us on with our full-size max-carry-on TravelPros (they just fit, sideways, in side bins.)

FWIW, the lack of a center bin on the Airbus is not unique to Aer Lingus -- many airlines do this in the premium cabins as a way to make them appear more spacious. I would just assume they keep the bins and add more storage space.
