Haven't had this issue since the summer, but I can say at least as of August I had a res held for nearly a whole day when travel was interrupted. Took them a minute to find it at the gate, but it all worked out. Just keep in mind the later pickup time may affect rates and/or coupon application (i.e., bump you out of weekly and into daily).
