I have *G as a UA Gold and am often in situations where I have lounge access and can in theory guest some lucky person at the airport (since usually no one is travelling with me)

One concern I do have with these random acts of lounge access is what would happen if the lounge dragon could tell that I’m doing this? Technically I am giving this as a gift to someone for no consideration so there is no bartering going on. Could I lose lounge access pricelieges or worse UA Gold status over something like this? It reminds me of the old adage no good deed goes unpunished.

would appreciate to hear fellow FTers thoughts on this.
