Does TSA not accept temporary drivers license documents anymore
So I took a trip from Wisconsin to Florida recently. I had a temporary drivers license paper document or whatever you call it. (I was waiting for a new one to be mailed) The document showed a photo of what my ID will be like once mailed. I didn't have any problems with TSA security on my way out, but coming back, TSA down in Florida wouldn't accept that paper document I had. Why would TSA let me fly with it back in Wisconsin, but the TSA in Florida wouldn't? TSA down there made get additional screening, and it made me even miss my flight home! Is TSA just really lax in Wisconsin, or is it that they're really strict in Florida? I don't understand why they would let fly in one airport but not the other. I didn't think I'd have this issue down in Florida as I didn't back home, so I didn't arrive an extra hour early. I'm really pissed because they made me miss my flight because of a temporary drivers license. I don't get it...
