There have been occasional reports of theft on the airport buses. So if you put your luggage on the rack, sit on the lower deck where you can keep an eye on it, not upstairs.
They finally got rid of the adverts, so the screens are only showing the luggage racks now. Since then, I have moved back to sitting upstairs and feel fine about it
