I already buy C tickets for all my family, so they all get lounge access. We have family of 5, that's 10 luggage already that comes with the ticket (long-haul) or plenty of weight (regional routes) already, and we usually pack no more than 6 luggage no more than 20 kilo each, so again the +1 luggage or additional weight BS for GO means nothing.

I just have to laugh Cathay claims the new MPO are aiming to give more benefits to premium flyers, when in reality they have cut benefits for us as much as they did for Y flyers. And now the renewed points system gave some benefits back to Y flyers, but Cathay still gave the middle finger to premium flyers. Good job Cathay, thanks for showing me the light, and I'll take my $150,000 USD a year business elsewhere.

Side note: I find it irritating that sometimes lounge attendants just rudely tell me I have too many kids BEFORE I hand them ALL of the lounge passes, and sometimes the lounge attendants will screen the names of my children's lounge pass with their passports to make sure they are legitimate. Do they don't believe some people do buy C class tickets for whole family?
