Hyatt Zilara Playa del Carmen: rumour
Currently at the GH PDC, and our taxi driver mentioned that the „The Royal Playa del Carmen“ would be rebranded to a Zilara.

I was surprised that a taxi driver should mention this and would even know about changes in the industry, so there may be something true about this, and also makes sense since most other Playa Resorts are Zivas or Zilaras already. I went over to the hotel to learn more, but the people I spoke to were unaware.

the Playa PDC is located adjacent to the GH PDC.
